You know its been a mental weekend when Monday morning feels like a sledgehammer round the face. However on the upside saw one of my favourite bands at one of my favourite London venues, got to do a sick DJ set in my local, see a French ska band destroy Basingstoke Live and I finally realised I actually like OFWGKTA more than I thought I did.
Had a rad time. People were friendly. Niagra Falls was breath taking as always. Awesome food, awesome beer and awesome bars to watch the Stanley Cup games. Go Bruins. Pictures up when I can be bothered.
Peace.
…what are your top 5 favourite bands ever. This will probably change as time progresses.

Very few things get me angry. But one thing that does is seeing people using dogs as status symbols. People that think it is cool to use a pitbull or a staffordshire bull terrier (or any dog for that matter) as an accessory to make them look harder. I for one, have grown up around Staffies all my life because of my family owning them for generations, way before they were considered a “popular” breed in society. I believe they are a lovely breed of dog to have as a pet. They are playful, friendly and so unconditionally loyal.
Everytime I see a dangerous dog story in the press, my heart feel truly heavy. Another living creature has to be put down becuase its owner isn’t responsible enough to train it properly. Some people say that a dog is as only as dangerous as its owner. I certainly think that this is true. I know there has been talk of re-introducing the dog licence. In light of recent events, I think that regulating dog ownership is a good idea. If you have to have a licence to keep wild animals that capable of killing humans why not for a domesticated dog that can be potentially just as dangerous?
.. the other night I saw Thursday pretty much play most of Full Collapse, one of the best albums ever made. Was a pretty sweet experience. Seeing them pretty much made feel 17 again. Will be looking forward to when they come back over next.

Plus the couple of gigs lined up in London. Thursday and Death Cab - two of my favourite live bands. Its gonna be like I’m seventeen again. Summer is starting to shape up pretty well.
